Flocculant dosing dispenser with a vibratory channel
The FASTRIP FP system features a flocculant dosing dispenser specially designed and sized for the automatic addition of flocculant to tanks containing paint stripping sludge. We offer different sizes of dispensers depending on the type of paint stripping equipment. By means of a special vibratory channel, they enable an ALITFLOCK series flocculant to be reliably transferred from the vibrating hopper to the sludge sedimentation tank, where it is mixed by the pneumatic mixer. The dosing dispenser’s hopper is equipped with a level sensor that signals when the minimum product level has been reached. It is possible to adjust the automatic dosing parameters by operating directly on the filter press’ panel interface.
Sludge sedimentation and filtered water recovery tanks
FASTRIP FP filter presses are normally connected to a sludge preparation and sedimentation tank and a filtered liquid recovery tank. The sludge mass formed in the paint stripping tank is sucked in and collected in the sedimentation tank. Its design and conical bottom promote the natural settling of sludge, which is then easily sucked up by the filter press pump. The presence of a level sensor allows the filling level of the unit to be adjusted at will according to specific parameters set by the software, either continuously or discontinuously. The tank is equipped with an ATEX pneumatic mixer for mixing ALITFLOCK flocculants. The filtered paint stripper coming out of the filter press is then collected in the recovery tank. This transfer takes place by gravity: therefore, the filter press and its recovery module must be placed close to each other. Again, the presence of a level sensor allows the filling level of the unit to be adjusted at will according to specific parameters set by the software, either continuously or discontinuously. Both tanks are made in AISI 304 steel, they have a conical bottom, and they are equipped with a level sensor, an opening lid, and an outlet valve at the bottom.
